Bringing Education Systems Together to Strengthen California's Teacher Workforce
On August 15 and 16, the California Community Colleges Teacher Preparation Programs (CCCTPP) will be hosting a cross-systems conference entitled: Bringing Education Systems Together to Strengthen the California Teacher Workforce. We expect approximately 200 attendees spanning California’s education system. The event will be held in Sacramento at the Sheraton Hotel and will bring together education system leads to address the teacher shortage crisis in California.
This conference will bring together education system leads to address the teacher shortage crisis in California and will be very beneficial in creating partnerships with key K-12 Strong Workforce stakeholders who will partner with and/or support our community college teacher preparation programs. The topics will focus attention on developing and strengthening connections between the education systems that support teacher training pathways, including community college teacher preparation programs, CSUs and 4-year institutions, TK-12 school districts, County Offices of Education, and a host of other stakeholders. It will be an ideal audience to celebrate you and your contributions to the field of education.
