Data Analysis SQL

Build on Basic SQL by learning to use SQL functions and aggregation features to do more sophisticated data analysis and reporting.
Saturday, October 22, 2016 - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Serious SQL users can tackle subqueries, and outer joins and master powerful SQL features that will let you build sophisticated queries that make the most out of SQL.
Each module will consist of 6 hours of in-person instruction and assistance in a kickoff meeting. Following this will be two weeks of online lecture and automatically graded exercises, supported by up to 20 hours of Piazza-based TA assistance for the class as a whole, generally in the form of evening question-answering at a class Piazza site. Finally, for students wishing in-person follow-up, there will be a TA-run 6 hour session two weeks after the kickoff meeting, to wrap up the class.

Attendees will be expected to supply laptop machines of their own with browser, preferably Chrome, they also need web access from home or work
