The California Community Colleges and the IFMA Foundation have partnered together to offer the Facility Management Talent Pipeline training program to provide a lucrative career path for students interested in this field. The Facility Management Talent Pipeline addresses the triple bottom line of Economy, Equity, and Environment, based on research that identified an annual gap of approximately 6,500 workers in California. Meeting this demand is critical to the energy efficiency of more than 10 billion square feet of commercial buildings, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing economic productivity of these buildings.
Diane Levine, Executive Director of the IFMA Foundation, Carlos Santamaria, Regional Director – Employer Engagement for the Bay Area, and Christian Pellecchia, FM Instructor at College of San Mateo & IFMA SV Chapter President will present resources available to colleges through this partnership and the past experience of successful programs in a free webinar on July 24, 2pm.
