College of the Canyons Certificate Description: This certificate is designed to prepare students for the CBEST – California Basic Education Skills Test. The CBEST is the standardized exam that future TK -12 teachers must pass prior to being accepted into a Teacher Credential Program or hired as a teacher in California.
