HANCOCK GRADUATES 133 STUDENTS FROM NURSING AND PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAMS

Allan Hancock College celebrated 133 students who graduated from the college’s nursing and public safety training programs this week.

The graduating students were honored at safe and socially distanced ceremonies held Dec. 8-11 for Hancock’s law enforcement, custody, emergency medical services (EMS), and fire academies as well as the college’s nursing programs. Many of the graduates will move on to work for local public safety agencies and healthcare providers.

“Training public servants is one of the core missions of our college, and that mission has never been more important,” said Hancock Superintendent/President Kevin G. Walthers, Ph.D. “These well-trained and highly-skilled graduates will serve as front-line workers, keeping our communities safe and healthy.”  Read more…
