SANTA MARIA CRACKER BARREL SUPPORTS HANCOCK CULINARY STUDENTS WITH $10,000 ENDOWMENT

The Allan Hancock College Foundation announced this week that Cracker Barrel established a new $10,000 endowment for students pursuing a degree in culinary arts.

Cracker Barrel and Hancock celebrated the generous donation with a check presentation ceremony Sept. 10 at Cracker Barrel’s new Santa Maria location on Betteravia Road, which opened in February. Cracker Barrel General Manager Dan Schneider, Retail Manager Joey Martinez and Employee Training Coordinator Chelsea Ladew presented the donation to Jon Hooten, Executive Director of College Advancement, and representatives from Hancock’s Culinary Arts and Management program. They were joined by culinary students Armando Ramos, Adrian Alvarez-Montar and Alana Gorsi.
