Over 40 RN students, faculty, and health professionals participated in a morning of professional development through the Health Workforce Initiative in collaboration with Ventura College and Dignity Health/Common Spirit. Participants learned about The Ethics of Patient Care, including the topics of Advanced Health Care Directives, Moral Distress, and Burnout. Participants had an opportunity to network prior to the event as well as take part in tours of the Health Sciences programs at Ventura College. Continuing education credit was provided by Ventura College Nursing Program.
